I can't find any reason for that to be a destination port unless it is on by default and the firewall doesn't know what to do with it so it dumps the SYN. My next attempt was setting up our server as [Jan Doberstein] Working with Cisco ASA / Nexus on Graylog suggested. Unfortunately this causes issues as well. The Grok Pattern for CiscoTimeStamp wont be accepted. No issues with the Nexus Pattern.
