Push the pin most of the way out. When the pin is almost out hold onto the float and pull the pin out the rest of the way. With the pin, out the float should be free.

WebMay 26, 2024 · That can be something as simple as a carb. float sticking not allowing the valve to close when the bowl is full of fuel. Don't go buying a new carb. They don't really wear out like other parts. A good cleaning and a rebuild or gasket kit should fix it. Watch a rebuild on u tube. Those are pretty simple. otoskop kawe piccolight c

I found the root cause - it appears the float/needle is getting stuck in the rised/closed position causing the bowl to run dry.
