WebJan 7, 2024 · To answer this question, this paper measures the degree of openness of digital services trade in each industry in China, and it empirically examines the impact of digital services trade liberalization on enterprises’ green innovation quality using data from A-share listed companies from 2014 to 2024. Webtrade liberalization on unemployment with β 0 giving the immediate contemporary effect and, say, β 2 giving the impact of a trade liberalization on unemployment two years after the event. The authors find that the coefficient β 0 is positive, implying that trade liberalization is associated with an immediate increase in the unemployment rate.
