When they tuned it with the hp tuner-I forgot to tell them I changed the rear end. The trans wouldnt shift. So they changed with their tuner. Web5 jan. 2024 · You definitely need a tuner to update the gear ratio. Your 3.07 ratio is factory installed and needs to be programmed to the 3.73 ratio. The speedometer is a mood point, in that if the ratio isn't updated, the minute you put the car in drive and accelerate, LIMP MODE. Do a Forum search. There are quite a few postings on the subject.
