WebJan 25, 2024 · Stripped Water Pump Bolt/Block This is how I feel right now: So, put the water pump on, and did not really pay attention to the bolts as they came out of the old pump. Put the pump back on, and noticed, one bolt was, shall we say, not tightening up. PULLED IT ALL OFF again! Sure enough one of the BOLTS was stripped.
